John Harris is the Manager of Career Advancement Services (CAS) for the part-time MBA programs. A proud University of Utah alumnus (BA class of ’96 and EMBA class of ’04) in this part-time role, John seeks to support career advancement of the MBA students at the University of Utah. Concurrent to his role at CAS, John is the President & CEO of an innovative biotech – aether THERAPEUTICS – developing a cure for the opioid crisis. Prior to aether, John was the CEO of a CRO based in San Diego, CA that performed over 100 clinical trials with a focus on renal disease. John has also had extensive international experience – 12 years in Japan where he was the country CEO for Becton Dickinson Japan. John has had experience with large, midsize and startups and credits his EMBA at the University of Utah in changing his career trajectory. John is excited to share his experience and enthusiasm for the University of Utah with the students enrolled in the EMBA, PMBA and MBAO classes.
