Jessamyn Skutches

Jessamyn (Jessie) received her associates from Cabrillo Community College in Aptos California and transferred to Idaho State University in Pocatello to complete her bachelors. During her education she worked as a student ambassador in financial aid and found a love for helping her peers pursue their academic goals.

After several major changes during her first few years of school she settled in communications, specializing in Multiplatform Journalism, with a minor in Public Relations and Advertising. Upon graduating she worked for a year in admissions at a small private school and returned to her alma mater last spring to help teach an advertising competition course.

Jessie loves to have a project going and is often learning a new craft or skill, from baking and embroidery to crochet and stained glass. During the pandemic she began going to the gym regularly for her mental health and it has become her favorite habit and hobby. Jessie is a huge animal lover and enjoys spending time outside.
