Dennis Kamakana

Dennis is originally from Moloka’i, Hawai’i but grew up in Magna, UT. He graduated with his B.A. in Sociology & Anthropology (2018) and his M.A.in Student Affairs Administration (2020), both from Lewis & Clark College in Portland, OR. Dennis was a student-athlete during his four years of undergrad as a member of the football team.

Prior to joining the Undergraduate Advising Services team, Dennis worked as an Academic Advisor at San Jose State University. He enjoys working with students to navigate their way through their higher education journey and pathways.
   
In his free time, Dennis enjoys being out in nature, including hiking, camping, and fishing. He also enjoys listening to music, attending live concerts, and collecting vinyl records.
