Atif Ellahie focuses on empirical research at the intersection of accounting and financial economics (e.g., risk, disclosure, valuation) and has published his research in several top-tier academic journals. Prior to academia, Atif worked for ten years in investment banking where he advised companies on corporate finance strategy, capital raisings, and mergers and acquisitions. Over the years, Atif has taught various accounting, financial analysis, and valuation courses at different levels. His teaching has been recognized through the Kenneth J. Hanni Teaching Award.
Atif completed a doctorate degree from London Business School, a Master of Accounting and Finance from London School of Economics, and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
