In 2020, Scott Anderson, the president of Zions Bank, commissioned a 5,000 square-foot public art piece celebrating the impact of women on the state of Utah. The mural features women of both past and present in recognition of the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment and was created by Jann Haworth, a Salt Lake City-based artist most known for creating The Beatles’ famous Sgt. Pepper Lonely Hearts Club album cover.

The Mural features more than 250 influential women from the state of Utah including some of the Eccles School’s own. Lisa Eccles, the current President and COO of the George S. and Dolores Doré Eccles Foundation, is featured prominently off to the left of the mural. Others featured include current Salt Lake City Mayor Erin Mendenhall and Seraph Young, the first woman to vote in the state of Utah. You can find the mural at 37 W. 100 South on the east side of the Dinwoody building or visit  womensmural.com for more information.
