Winners announced for the Information Systems COVID-19 Challenge
The Information Systems Major, in partnership with Domo, jointly organized a COVID-19 Data Analytics Challenge that concluded last week.
The objectives were two-fold: first, to enable students to gain data analytics skillsets specifically in using the Domo BI and Visualization Platform; second, to expose students in learning to relate real-world problems to their classroom learnings.
Student participants are from four categories: Business Scholars, Undergrad IS Majors, Undergrad IS All Majors, and Graduate. Students are tasked to produce insights from the patient level South Korea dataset dated Jan to March 2020 encompassing 3200 patients. The winners along with their YouTube presentations are displayed below.
