The San Francisco Chronicle looked at why women CEOs get more backlash than their male counterparts. Specifically, the paper looked at why Yahoo! CEO Marissa Mayer was heavily criticized for making moves similar to those made by Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey, who was praised for his decisions.

It’s a pretty clear-cut case of female CEOs being treated worse because of their gender, and there are few experts as well versed in studying that phenomenon than Lyda Bigelow, professor of strategy and entrepreneurship at the Eccles School.
