The Full-Time and Professional MBA programs at the University of Utah’s David Eccles School of Business have continued their upward trajectory in this year’s U.S. News & World Report’s Best Business Schools ranking. The rankings of on-campus MBA programs were released this week, adding to the concurrently released #11 ranking for entrepreneurship (#5 among public schools) at the Eccles School.

The Eccles School’s Full-Time MBA advanced to No. 40, improving four spots over last year. The Professional MBA program advanced to No. 27, increasing one spot over last year’s part-time MBA ranking. This 2021 part-time MBA ranking represents an astounding 81-spot increase for the Professional MBA program over the past six years.

To calculate rankings for the best on-campus MBA programs, U.S. News & World Report sent survey requests to all 493 MBA programs accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). A total of 364 responded and of those, 134 were included in the rankings released this year. For this ranking, U.S. News & World Report based their results on a weighted average of peer assessment, recruiter assessment, placement success, and admissions selectivity.
