Specialized Master’s Programs show 93%+ career placement, high salaries

Graduates in all of the Specialized Master’s Programs at the David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah experienced strong career placements and high starting salaries despite the COVID-19 pandemic.

Career placement rates ranged from 93% to 100%, and starting salaries showed the return on investment Specialized Master’s Program students received. The impressive statistics come from a combination of well-prepared graduates, a Utah economy that has not faced the same hardships as much of the rest of the country, and dedicated staff at the Eccles School’s Business Career Services.

“In these uncertain times, it’s heartening to see that our Specialized Master’s graduates are securing great careers,” said Taylor Randall, dean of the David Eccles School of Business. “Now is a great time for students to invest in themselves as they further their educations so they can be competitive in today’s job market.”

Graduate students who attend the Eccles School enjoy not only world-class education from leading-edge faculty, many of whom have real-world experience in their respective fields, but also wrap-around support, including from staff from Business Career Services who work to forge relationships with top companies.

“Our Business Career Services team works with students to bolster their networks and polish their interview skills, but even more importantly, they work to understand individual student’s goals and work to smooth the path to their dream career,” said Mark Parker, associate dean for Specialized Masters Programs at the David Eccles School of Business.
