Seeds of Gratitude with BSG
At the David Eccles School of Business, we are proud of our dedicated faculty and staff for their commitment to supporting the academic and professional success of Eccles students. To show thanks, Business Student Government (BSG) organized the Seeds of Gratitude service project to recognize the hard work and positive impact of our faculty and staff for our community.
During Seeds of Gratitude, students wrote around 200 personalized letters of thanks addressed to faculty or staff that have helped them along their academic journey. Along with the letters, succulent plants were also gifted as an appreciation, symbolizing the growth that is achievable through encouragement and support provided by our faculty and staff. BSG members personally dropped off the letters and plants to faculty offices, spreading gratitude throughout the community while doing so.
“It’s always nice to give thanks to someone who’s helped you develop and who’s helped me so much without expecting anything.”
– Austin Arnold, junior pursuing finance, and participant in Seeds of Gratitude.
“A little gratitude at the end of the semester is exactly what we need to finish strong.”
– Professor Rochford, shared in a LinkedIn post.
As we celebrate the season of gratitude, we should take the opportunity to express our thanks and recognize those who have helped us grow. By showing gratitude, we can spread positivity and create a greater sense of belonging in our community. So take time to reach out, show your appreciation, and inspire others to do the same.
As always, Business Student Government is here to support U! Feel free to connect with us on Instagram @ecclesbsg or via Linkedin to keep up with future service projects and other fun events. Additionally, check out our website for more information on BSG!
