When searching for rankings based on the three most prominent accounting journals, The Accounting Review, the Journal of Accounting and Economics and the Journal of Accounting Research, the Eccles School of Accounting has ranked well over the past decade. Ranking highlights include:
- Since 2013: Ranks 32 in North America
- Since 2019: Ranks 27 in North America
- Since 2020: Ranks 15 in North America
