The Master of Science in Finance (MSF) program at the University of Utah’s David Eccles School of Business has maintained a top-20 national ranking. For the past two years, the MSF program has notched the No. 20 spot on The Financial Engineering Times’ list of best Master of Finance Rankings.

“We are proud to have maintained a top-20 ranking,” said Mark Parker, associate dean of students at the David Eccles School of Business. “This ranking validates the efforts of program faculty, staff, administration and students.”

The Financial Engineering Times rankings are based on criteria that includes: GMAT scores, starting salary, undergraduate GPA, program acceptance rate, graduates employed at graduation and graduates employed three months after graduation.

“We are thrilled to have the excellence of our program recognized,” said Danny Wall, director of the Master of Science in Finance program at the Eccles School. “Our students continue to excel in the classroom and beyond the program. This ranking is recognition of their hard work.”

Only one of two such programs in the Intermountain West, the Eccles School Master of Science in Finance program is an intensive one-year degree with an accommodating part-time option that prepares students for advanced careers in the financial industry.
