MRED Around-the-Worlders hit Seoul
MRED Around the World student Dejan Eskic writes from Seoul, South Korea, where the students met up after crossing the Pacific Ocean:
We have all arrived safely and are starting to adjust to the 15-hour time change. While half of the group was somewhere over the Pacific, the other half was out getting their first taste of Seoul.
Our first impression of Seoul is that it is a great city. The metro here is one of the best systems in the world and also one of the cleanest from what we can tell.
While out exploring we had a chance to visit the Cheonggyechon river walk (pictured) located in the heart of Seoul. It is a five-mile walking path that opened in 2005 and is one of the city’s main attractions for both locals and tourists.
