Four Eccles School MBA/MHA students recently competed in the University of Alabama Healthcare Case Competition, and even though it was only the second year the Eccles School has competed, the students reached the semi-finals.

They ended up competing in a Group of Death (for all of your World Cup fans out there), and the two teams that beat them — University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill and George Washington University — ended up taking first and second place in the competition overall.

“We like to say we came in third, unofficially of course,” joked Andreu “AJ” Reall, one of the members of the case competition team.

The team consisted of Jared Martin, Roger Phillips, Reall and Mike Workman.
