President-elect Joe Biden has tapped Dr. Jill Jim, executive director of the Navajo Department of Health, to serve on his COVID-19 Advisory Board.
Jim earned her Master of Healthcare Administration from the David Eccles School of Business and her doctorate in Public Health from the University of Utah.
“Dr. Jim’s extensive public health experience and expertise (have) been a major benefit for the Navajo Nation throughout the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Navajo Nation President Jonathan Nez in a statement. “And now she will serve on a much broader level to help fight this modern-day monster throughout the country.”
