As Spring Semester comes to a close, we are excited to introduce the 2023-2024 BLinc (Business Student Government Team!) BLinc is dedicated to elevating the Eccles School experience by building community, cultivating a sense of belonging, understanding and advocating for student voice, and enhancing equity, diversity, and inclusion. Each team member is committed to serving you and engaging with these meaningful goals.
Abbey Salamera (she/her)
Chief Executive Officer
Abbey is a rising senior from Westminster, Colorado, studying Information Systems with minors in Management and Media Studies. This will be her second year as Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Abbey will work closely with the team to support the student voice, programming, and marketing initiatives for the 2023-24 academic year.
Fun Fact: Abbey has a Chowksy named Apollo. She also enjoys riding her electric scooter around campus!
Caprice Steidle (she/her)
Chief Operating Officer
Caprice is a rising senior from Eden Prairie, Minnesota, studying Marketing. As Chief Operating Officer (COO), Caprice will oversee the Operations Team and manage all Business Student Government programming logistics.

Drew Jackson (he/him)
Chief Financial Officer
Drew is a rising junior from Mapleton, Utah, studying QAMO. As Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Drew will be responsible for managing budgets, purchasing, and tracking the financials of team initiatives.
Fun Fact: Drew enjoys making custom cutting boards and even went to State for woodshop!
Trish Luu (she/her)
Chief Marketing Officer
Trish is a rising junior from West Jordan, Utah, studying Marketing, Graphic Design, and Integrative Human Biology. Trish currently serves on the team as the Director of Social Media and will be Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) for the 2023-24 academic year. As CMO, Trish will support and monitor the Marketing Team by implementing their branding and communication.
Fun Fact: Trish enjoys traveling, boba, and traveling to try new boba shops!
Jordan Fairbourn (she/her)
Director, Communications
Jordan is a rising senior from Sandy, Utah, studying Accounting. As Director of Communications, Jordan will create written content to engage and inform the Eccles community on Student Government initiatives.
Fun Fact: Jordan loves to bake and write fanfic about the team!
Brendan Tsang (he/him)
Director, Civic Engagement
Brendan is a rising junior from Sandy, Utah, studying Information Systems and Operations & Supply Chain. As Director of Civic Engagement, Brendan will develop community service & civic engagement opportunities for Eccles School students.
Fun Fact: Brendan enjoys playing and watching basketball!
Sally Tran (she/her)
Director, Social Media
Sally is a rising senior from Taylorsville, Utah, studying Information Systems. She currently serves on the team as Associate Director of Eccles Traditions and will be Director of Social Media for the 2023-24 academic year. As the Director of Social Media, Sally will manage our social media presence in alignment with the Business Student Government and Eccles School marketing strategy.
Fun Fact: Sally is a huge One Direction fan, specifically Zayn Malik!
Isabelle White (she/her)
Director, Eccles Traditions
Isabelle is a rising sophomore from Salt Lake City, Utah, studying QAMO. As the Director of Eccles Traditions, Isabelle will coordinate traditional Eccles School-wide events focused on fostering community & belonging.
Fun Fact: Isabelle’s hidden talent is playing the harp!
Jack VanDerHeyden (he/him)
Director, Student Voice
Jack is a rising senior from Tustin, California, studying Accounting. As the Director of Student Voice, Jack will manage Eccles School-wide initiatives to understand students’ experiences, needs, and perspectives.
