U Career Success (UCS)

Business Career Coaches are a great place to start on your internship journey. Tailored to your chosen major, Career Coaches can assist in the entire process, from crafting your resume to navigating salary negotiations. UCS has a great Job/Internship Board that can help you stay up to date on new job openings that may be of interest to you. When you secure an internship interview, UCS also has a Career Closet where you can borrow professional attire at no cost, ensuring you can create a positive impression. Explorers Program: Goff Strategic Leadership Center

Explorers is a program offered through the Goff Strategic Leadership Center, enabling students to gain their initial professional experience and secure internships. Rather than independently seeking out internships, University of Utah students can apply for this program, where they will be matched with an internship host, facilitating the development of leadership and professionalism skills. The program spans one semester and includes weekly meetings to facilitate the time to learn and harness the essential skills needed for working in a professional environment. Hinkley Institute of Politics

Hinkley Institute of Politics offers internships that are open to students from all majors. You’ll find internship opportunities at local, national, and international levels, with some international placements in countries such as Australia, Thailand, Spain, and more!
