Eccles School MBA Online program ranked No. 11 worldwide by Princeton Review

The MBA Online program at the University of Utah David Eccles School of Business jumped three spots in the 2019 Princeton Review Top 25 Online MBA Programs ranking, landing at No. 11. The program was ranked No. 3 in the West.

The ranking criteria focused on five core areas: academics, selectivity, faculty, technical platforms and career outcomes. Data points were weighted in more than 60 unique fields to determine the final ranking. The ranking surveyed more than 5,100 students enrolled in online MBA programs, as well as administrators at more than 75 business schools.

“In a market with an ever-increasing number of offerings, to retain and improve our ranking is a testament to the efforts our faculty members and staff put forth to ensure our students are getting the same rigorous academic experience they would receive in our on-campus courses,” said Brad Vierig, associate dean of MBA programs and executive education at the Eccles School.

The Princeton Review ranking comes on the heels of a No. 25 ranking by the U.S. News & World Report earlier this year.

“We are truly honored by the recognition of our MBA Online program by Princeton Review” said Kris May, director of the MBA Online and Professional MBA programs at the Eccles School. “These rankings publications survey our students extensively to ensure that the program is meeting their expectations and providing value in their careers. The continued success of our online program comes from our ability to provide world-class graduate management education in an ‘always on’ format that works for today’s busy working professionals.”
