The Full-Time MBA program at the University of Utah David Eccles School of Business ranked No. 2 in the world in Bloomberg Businessweek’s inaugural global MBA indexes for both learning and entrepreneurship. In addition to the Eccles School’s strong showing in the index rankings, the Full-Time MBA program was ranked No. 36 overall in the U.S. (a 20 spot jump from the previous year) and No. 42 worldwide.

For the first time ever, Businessweek has combined ranking lists for both U.S. and international schools to facilitate direct comparison and broken out results into four distinct indexes that represent what prospective MBA students care most about: compensation, learning, networking, and entrepreneurship.

“We are thrilled to see our Full-Time MBA program recognized by Bloomberg Businessweek as being among the world’s best,” said Brad Vierig, associate dean of MBA Programs & Executive Education at the Eccles School. “We have dedicated significant resources to provide a world-class Full-Time MBA program for our students. This ranking validates those efforts but ultimately we are focused on what matters most: preparing our students for high impact careers that serve to improve the futures of not only our graduates but also the companies that hire them.”
