We are thrilled to announce the winners of the Eccles Beginnings Program case competition that took place on July 31, 2019 here at the David Eccles School of Business.

Eccles Beginnings is a four-week bridge program for incoming freshmen who are first-generation students, or who come from underrepresented backgrounds, and who are interested in studying business. Students live on campus and participate in a variety of activities to acclimate them to the University of Utah and the Eccles School. The program includes both intensive math and writing classes as well.
This year’s winners emphasized the confidence the program has given them, not only in navigating campus and getting to know other students and faculty members, but also the self-assurance that they can succeed in college.
