In our culture today, ethics is becoming an even more central issue within the business world.

Here at the David Eccles School of Business, we take ethics very seriously. The Daniels Fund Ethics Initiative has created a program for students to bring ethics into their internships and careers, and help share ethical practices and standards with those companies.

Since 2014, 44 students have completed the Daniels Fund Ethics Initiative Rising Star Internship program. In order to qualify for the Daniels Fund Ethics Initiative Rising Star Internships, students have to include ethical objectives in their internship. They work with their advisor to develop these objectives. Once the internship is completed, the advisors will recommend the interns for these awards. In late June, Rising Star Interns were honored for their accomplishments.

This year the following completed an Internship at:

Taylor Dues – Tommy Hilfiger
Vy Huynh – Brightstar Care
Brett Jones – Marcus & Millichap
Shay Lawrence – Jacobson Construction
Kevin Luong – Disneyland
Cory Merrill – CHG Healthcare Services
Zury Oakey – Select Portfolio Servicing, Inc.
Stephanie Yu – Blomquist Hale Employee Assistance
