Coaching, Connections, and Opportunities
The Graduate Career Management Center (GCMC) has been a great resource throughout the job searching process. As we all know, job searching requires a high degree of patience and perspicacity. The GCMC is always there to provide the care and insight to guide a graduate student to their next professional opportunity.
Greg Bisping, with the GCMC, actively provided guidance, encouragement and assisted with preparing me for a number of unique discussions with companies. Most importantly, Greg kept me engaged in the search and actively checked in with me to see where I stood in the process. As a result of his coaching and connections, networking opportunities hosted by the GCMC, connections I personally made and online job applications I had over thirty interviews, several of which involved multiple rounds, and received five job offers, with multiple opportunities still in the pipeline.
