Celebrate Pride with the David Eccles School of Business
Rainbows are popping up all over for Pride month, and while campus is a bit quiet for the summer, the David Eccles School of Business still has some ways to celebrate.
For students, there is Out for Business, a professional development and community outreach group that develops relationships, resources, and education among faculty, staff, students, and companies for the benefit of LGBTQ+ business students. The group hosts events throughout the school year, with activities ranging from cooking and yoga nights to professional networking events with LGBTQ+ professionals. Join by visiting the Out for Business Campus Connect Page.
Many students face the loss of emotional and financial support when they come out to their families. With that in mind, the Eccles School offers the Hope Scholarship to students facing this challenge. Alumni, parents, students, staff, and faculty can contribute any amount to this incredible scholarship and know that they are helping buoy up students who may not have family support to complete their education. Contribute here, and choose “Hope Scholarship” as the designation.
The Eccles School is proud to stand with our LGBTQ+ faculty, staff, students, and alumni. U belong here!
