December 1               

  1. MBA Advisors on Location, Layton- Drop by and meet our admissions advisors for appetizers and learn about our evening MBA. If you have questions about the admissions process, curriculum, and/or student life, this is a great opportunity to have your questions answered in a one-on-one setting.
  2. 4 MBA Programs Webinar– Information webinars are a great way to find out more about the 4 MBA programs offered at the David Eccles School of Business. Sessions are webcast and begin with a presentation that gives an overview of the curriculum, faculty, and admissions process. This is followed by an extensive Q&A period. December 2               

  1. Women’s Alumni Event Sara Laschever has spent her career investigating what shapes women’s lives and careers. She has written extensively about women in business, literature and the arts, academia, and the sciences. Her work has been published by The New York Times, The New York Review of Books, The Harvard Business Review, Vogue, Glamour, and many other publications. Sara is faculty of the Carnegie Mellon Leadership. She earned a bachelor’s from Princeton University and a master’s from Boston University.
  2. MS Finance Student Lunch Event– The Master of Science in Finance Student Lunch event will provide prospective students an overview of the program, as well as an opportunity to meet current students. Attendees will be able to talk with current MSF students in a small setting and ask questions one-on-one.
  3. Lecture Series: David Feldon– The Hugo Rossi Lecture Series, named in honor of the CSME’s founding director, was designed to bridge the College of Science and College of Education by attracting speakers whose scholarly pursuits include K-16 math/science education research. Through engaging in discussion of new ideas in math and science education, we can promote best practices and student success at the University of Utah and within the broader community.
  4. Workshop: Startup Skills– This month, participants choose one of three workshops: generating business ideas, graphic design or design for 3D printing. December 3   

  1. Professional MBA Webinar– During this interactive session, the Professional MBA admissions team will walk you through the PMBA application step by step and answer questions. This webinar will also help you learn how to make your application more competitive and stand out.

  1. Women’s Information Webinar-Women are key contributors at the University of Utah.  We are committed to enrolling top-quality female candidates to increase the number of women in professional leadership roles.  Come meet local MBA Online current students, alumni and members of the admissions committee, expand your personal network and see if the MBA Online program is right for you.
  2. Mentor: Hours with Exports– Expert hours allow students of all majors to individually consult with community professionals about their product, service or idea. This month, students can choose to meet with professionals in design & product development, general entrepreneurship, legal help or business skills.   1. MSIS Information Session– This Master of Science in Information Systems Information Session will offer an overview of the program, as well as an opportunity to meet students, faculty, the MSIS Program Director, and admissions staff. We will also review the application process.

  1. MBA Information Session– Information sessions are a great way to find out more about the Full-time MBA program. Sessions begin with a presentation that gives an overview of the curriculum, faculty, and admissions process. This is followed by an opportunity to hear from current students and alumni and a Q&A period. You are welcome to bring a sponsor, colleague, friend, or spouse.
