David Eccles School of Business Inducts Gail Miller to Hall of Fame

Gail Miller, owner and immediate past chair of the Larry H. Miller Company, was inducted into the David Eccles School of Business Hall of Fame in May, exactly 20 years after her late husband, Larry Miller, received the same recognition. In addition to her roles at the Larry H. Miller Company, Miller is chair of the Larry H. Miller Family Foundation and presides over the Larry H. Miller Education Foundation. Initiative on Government Improvement honors Utah legislative fiscal analyst Jonathan Ball with inaugural TOP award

The Initiative on Government Improvement and the Executive Education program within the David Eccles School of Business hosted a Top Operations & Performance (TOP) Talk on Thursday, May 16, an event that featured Boyd Matheson (host of KSL NewsRadio's Inside Sources) as keynote speaker, and honored Jonathan Ball (Utah legislative fiscal analyst and Kem C. Gardner Policy Institute senior advisor) as the inaugural TOP Performer of the Year. 19 students graduate from new fintech program

Nineteen students are graduating from the University of Utah this academic year with newly available designations in financial technology (or fintech). The students are receiving a finance major with a fintech emphasis or a fintech minor. The University of Utah announced the fintech academic programs in fall 2022.
