Delilah Martis

Delilah migrated to Salt Lake City in 2015 from Bangalore, India with her husband and two daughters.

She has a Master’s degree in Business Administration.

While in India, she gained corporate social responsibility (CSR) experience with Actionaid, a global non-profit, where she partnered with corporate firms helping them design and manage their corporate-community involvement programs.

Since May 2019, she has been working as Scholarship Advisor and College Liaison at West High School, Salt Lake City, providing scholarship and college financial aid counseling to students and families. Observing motivated students find college and career success gives her immense personal satisfaction.

She has also taught ESL to refugees and immigrants as well as Business English to non-English speaking corporate expatriates.

She serves as a Board member of the Mundi Project, a Utah-based nonprofit seeking to break down socioeconomic and generational barriers while providing quality music experiences for all.

Delilah has built her career around diverse experiences, building strong client networks and relationships, thriving in diverse environments, effective teamwork and communications, openness to change, and high levels of personal accountability.

She loves to travel and has visited over 35 US National and State Parks and Monuments over the last 7 years. She also enjoys cooking and sharing Indian food with neighbors and friends.

She is grateful for the opportunity to continue her journey of learning and sharing as a Career Coach at the University of Utah.
