Tom’s unique background in both the clinical and business sides of the enterprise provides a unique perspective of our challenging health care environment with a proven track record of taking health centers to the next level by exceeding revenue and growth expectations. Tom is a take charge leader who embraces challenges and brings a cohesive approach to driving revenue and reducing costs by assessing personnel and situations, while proactively implementing the necessary strategies and operational efficiencies to ensure a consistent, high-quality approach to operations.
Tom developed the University of Utah’s urgent care strategic business plan and started and/or expanded three new urgent care sites in the past 6 months with three more to be started in the next 6 months.

Tom was fully involved with the planning, construction and start-up of five new or remodeled health centers.

Tom built and directed the operations of the University of Utah Community Clinics CLIA high complexity laboratory with annual net margins of over $2 million.
