Kelsie Green
Adjunct Instructor
Master of Healthcare Administration
Kelsie Green has worked in the healthcare industry for over 15 years in a variety of clinical and diverse and complex leadership roles. Kelsie began her career as a Certified Nurse Assistant, specializing in Assisted Living, Post-Partum, and Emergency Services. This is where she found her passion for Emergency Services and Trauma. After graduating with her ASN from Weber State University in 2009, she joined the University of Utah Hospital and Clinics as a staff nurse in the Emergency Room for 10 years. During this time, she received her BSN from Boise State University and her MBA from the University of Utah David Eccles School of Business.
During her years at the University of Utah, she was offered leadership roles – both as a Charge Nurse and as the Assistant Manager – and quickly realized her passion for leading teams and watching them excel. She also helped oversee a Level 3 Trauma program within the Salt Lake County area and was instrumental in designing processes for transferring patients to higher level care facilities.
Kelsie joined HCA Healthcare’s Mountain Division in 2017 to help oversee the division’s Patient Transfer Center that covers Utah, Idaho, and Alaska. She is currently the division’s Assistant Vice President of Business Development and Outreach – a position she has held since 2019 – and loves visiting the rural hospitals and clinics throughout her region. Altogether, she covers over 100 services among the 30 facilities.
