Jason Cook is an Assistant Professor of Economics in the Division of Quantitative Analysis of Markets and Organizations at the University of Utah as well as a CESifo and IZA Research Affiliate and an Annenberg Institute Contributor. His research fields are public economics, labor economics, and applied econometrics. Jason specializes in combining large administrative datasets with quasi-experimental designs to understand barriers to accessing the social safety net. He has a PhD in Economics from Cornell University.
