David Eccles Week honors school’s namesake and his values
The David Eccles School of Business is celebrating its namesake and the values he embodied during the inaugural David Eccles Week.
The week kicks off on Monday, Sept. 14 and goes through Thursday, Sept. 17.
The biggest event of the week is the Spencer F. Eccles Convocation on Tuesday. It’s the time when you get to hear from business and government leaders to hear from a top business thought leader. Tickets are free, but do need to be obtained by visiting Eccles.link/convocation.

Monday • Legacy
Learn more about Utah’s first entrepreneur by checking out the exhibit in the lobby of the SFEBB.
Tuesday • Leadership
The Spencer F. Eccles Convocation will take place at 11 a.m. to noon in SFEBB 1110. Speaker Norm Wesley, former CEO of Fortune Brands, will discuss his career and lessons he learned along the way. Get tickets by clicking here.
Wednesday • Perseverance
Come see if you have what it takes to conquer the climbing wall! Climb the wall for free from noon to 2 p.m. on the plaza.
From 5 to 7 p.m., engage with Tracy Christman, partner at EY Auditing, as she discusses “What does it mean to have a voice?” in the Bill & Pat Child Family Community Hall on the 7th floor of the SFEBB. RSVP at Eccles.link/ey-voice.
