Professor Jason Cook gives interview on effects of cuts to SNAP
Jason Cook, an Assistant Professor in the Eccles School’s Division of Quantitative Analysis of Markets and Organizations as well as the Marriner S. Eccles Institute, was featured on a Fox 13 News segment talking about the impact of cuts to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) amid the ongoing shutdown of the federal government. Teppo Felin honored as Eccles School’s ‘Researcher of the Month’ for November
Teppo Felin, who is both the Ion Foundation Endowed Professor in the Department of Entrepreneurship & Strategy and Co-Director of the Ion Management Science Lab, has been selected as the David Eccles School of Business’s “Researcher of the Month” for November 2025. New Business AI minor announced for all University of Utah undergraduate students
The David Eccles School of Business will offer a minor in Artificial Intelligence (AI) to all University of Utah undergraduate students — regardless of major or college — beginning in Fall 2026. It is the first AI-related academic program at the U to be officially approved by the Board of Trustees. The Business AI minor is a cross-disciplinary program designed to equip students with critical skills in AI technologies and their practical applications in business.
