Shawn Adamson
Shawn Adamson is the Senior Vice President of Comcast Business for Comcast Cable’s Northeast Division. In this role, Adamson will lead all aspects of Comcast Business’ operations, from deepening small business relationships to implementing strategies in the midmarket and enterprise segments, across 14 northeastern states from Maine through Virginia and the District of Columbia.
Adamson has more than 25 years of telecommunications industry experience. In her 10 years with Comcast, Adamson has served in a variety of leadership positions within Business Services, Business Operations and Sales Strategy. In her most recent position, Adamson served as Vice President of Sales and Strategy for Comcast Business at the company’s headquarters where she led the successful sales integration of the Masergy acquisition which helped to enable Comcast Business to grow its enterprise segment globally. Prior to joining Comcast, Adamson served as Regional Vice President for XO Communications’ West markets.
Adamson currently serves on the Advisory Board for the David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah. She has been honored and recognized for many awards including one of Utah Business Magazine’s 30 Women to Watch, Trustee of the Year from Utah’s Technology Industry and Technology Trailblazer from the Women Tech Awards.
Jason Beardall
Jason is the chief executive officer of England Logistics. He joined England Logistics in 2004 and has served in various positions within brokerage services, sales, and operations. During Jason’s watch, England Logistics has grown substantially, not only in size and profitability but as an organization committed to the betterment of every team member personally and professionally.
Jason has further served the transportation and logistics community through industry associations and personal service. He served sixteen years as a member of the Board of Directors for the Transportation Intermediaries Association (TIA), with eight of those years as a member of the Executive Committee and two as Chairman. Additionally, Jason has represented the transportation industry at White House infrastructure improvement meetings on multiple occasions, invoking change and serving as the voice of 3PLs nationwide.
In 2014, Jason was honored with the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award and currently serves on the Entrepreneur Of The Year® Utah Region Alumni Executive Board. In 2016, Jason was selected as the Weber State Young Alumnus of the Year.
Jordan Farrer
Jordan Farrer joined Marcus & Millichap’s Self-Storage Division in 2018 and has been the leading self-storage broker in Utah since that time. Jordan has sold over $300M and 50 self-storage facilities. He prides himself on performing for his clients and keeping open communication through complex transactions. He was the top-producing agent at Marcus & Millichap Salt Lake in 2022 and 2023 and consistently ranks among the firm’s top 15 self-storage brokers.
Before joining the brokerage world Jordan cut his teeth in the Door-to-Door sales industry and received a bachelor’s degree in finance from Dixie State University and a Master’s in Real Estate Development from the University of Utah.
Jordan enjoys playing basketball, golfing, weightlifting, and boating whenever possible. He is happily married with three children and credits his success to his wife’s unwavering support.
Sterling Frandsen
I help lead all of Tiled’s strategic partnerships that can range from design agencies to integrations with companies like Adobe to reselling partnerships with companies like Seismic. I am focused on both creating new revenue and retaining customers through our partner channels plus be a subject matter expert on how we work in each of those partnerships.
Alan Hall
Hall is the founder, chairman and CEO of Blue Sky Energy Corporation, a global provider of multiple carbon-based, environmentally-friendly non-fuel products for industry. He is also the founder and former CEO of MarketStar Corporation, a global marketing and sales company with a focus on assisting high technology companies increase their sales through the small to medium business sectors. The company was established in 1988 and employs several thousand employees He is a co-founder and former managing director of Mercato Partners, a top decile growth equity venture capital fund. He is also a prolific angel investor with numerous personal investments in area companies. Hall is the past chairman of the Utah Technology Council, Prosperity 2020 and the past chairman of Weber State University!s board of trustees. As major contributors to the University, the Alan and Jeanne Hall Foundation has endowed the Hall Sales Center of Excellence, the Hall Global Entrepreneurship program and most recently he and his wife were the lead contributors the University’s Tracy Hall Science Center. He is both an Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year and Mountain West Capital Network Entrepreneur of the Year award recipient. He is a frequent speaker, author of three e-books on entrepreneurship, and a columnist for Forbes and Harvest Business Review. Hall graduated from Weber State in 1969 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and earned his MBA from Brigham Young University in 1972. He is a recipient of an Honorary Doctorate of Humanities degree from Weber State University and an adjunct professor in the Goddard School of Business at Weber State, where he teaches entrepreneurship and professional sales classes. Alan and his wife Jeanne are the chairman and president of The Alan and Jeanne Hall Foundation. He is the chairman of Ogden Pioneer Days and has served as a board member of the Utah System of Higher Education with oversight of Utah’s sixteen public colleges and universities. The Halls have six married children, twenty-two grandchildren and two great granddaughters.
Rick Haskins
Rick Haskins has enjoyed a forty-year career building #1 brands in the package goods, television, and digital industries. He is currently focused on building his own charitable organization, Cast A Pebble, based on health and education which, most recently, partnered with The U’s Center for Business, Health and Prosperity, its partner, Ensign Global College, and the nation of Ghana’s Ministry of Health and Ghana Health Service under a Memorandum of Understanding to expand the Health2Go program nationally. He is also on the CAL Arts, Unbound America, and Open to Hope Board of Directors.
Haskins was President, Streaming and Chief Branding Officer at The CW Television Network. He lead The CW’s digital and social media endeavors, growing CWTV.com to a $100MM platform and building social media to over 100 Million fans. Haskins has extended the network’s brand identity across all media platforms, and was responsible for some of the industry’s most notable and notorious campaigns, including the “OMFG” and quote campaigns for “Gossip Girl,” and the “Catch VD” campaign for “The Vampire Diaries.”
In 2019 Haskins won a Television Academy Honors for the groundbreaking My Last Days television series. In 2012, Haskins was named one of Broadcasting & Cable’s Digital All- Stars. Under Haskins’ direction, The CW was awarded two Lions at the International Cannes Media Festival in 2009 and named the number two Mobile Marketer of the Year by Mobile Marketer Daily in 2009. Haskins was also named one of Advertising Age’s Entertainment A-List Marketers of the Year in 2009.
Prior to The CW, Haskins had served as Executive Vice President/General Manager for Lifetime Television. During his tenure at Lifetime, Haskins was an instrumental part of the team that helped the network become the highest-rated basic cable entity on television. At Lifetime Haskins received the National Women’s Political Caucus Good Guy award for his work in building awareness for breast cancer and violence against women in 2005 and Broadcasting and Cable’s Brand Builder Award in 2001.
Previously, Haskins helmed his own marketing consulting company, The Haskins Group, from 1996-99. He held a variety of positions for The Walt Disney Company from 1988-96, including Vice President, Marketing, Buena Vista Television and Director of Development, Reality Programming, Buena Vista Television. From 1982-88, Haskins was a brand manager with Procter & Gamble in Cincinnati, overseeing premium packaged good brands like Crest and Vidal Sassoon hair care products.
Haskins is the co-author of the book Brand Yourself published in 2000. He was born and raised in Utah and attended Utah State University. He fondly recalls his experiences – both in and out of the classroom – as well as his membership in the Sigma Chi Fraternity.
Jeffrey Gelder Lewis
Jeffrey Gelder Lewis isn’t just the founder and CEO of GELDER GENERATIONAL Wealth—he’s a financial dynamo with a passion for helping families and businesses unlock their full potential and secure their futures. Michelle Ulmer
Michelle Ulmer is the VP/GM of Customer Development for Kimberly-Clark, managing the $2 Billion Costco Global business based in Seattle/Issaquah, WA. Her career spans over 30 years in consumer products, working for some of the world’s most respected companies, including Procter & Gamble (27 years retired), Berkshire-Hathaway/Duracell, and Kimberly-Clark. While at P&G she was awarded the title of William Procter Sales Master, a lifetime achievement award for Sales Mastery.
She is a proud U of U Eccles School of Business graduate class of ’89. She has a passion for people development and is a mentor with the Seattle University Albers School of Business mentor program, as well as mentors the University of Washington Foster School of Business students. She was the former Membership Chair of the Network of Executive Women, Pacific Northwest Chapter. She is currently the Executive Advisor of NextUp, a network organization dedicated to advancing all women in business.
She is the proud mother of three young adults. A Utah native, she frequently returns to Utah to visit family and ski!
