Junseok Song is an Assistant Professor, Lecturer, in the Department of Management at the University of Utah’s David Eccles School of Business. He earned his Ph.D. in Business Administration and bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota, and a master’s degree from Yonsei University.

At the University of Utah, Junseok teaches business and international management courses. His research focuses on employee motivation and personality, emphasizing recruitment processes and newcomer socialization. His work extends into entrepreneurship and marketing, focusing on the transformative impact of artificial intelligence (AI) in business.

Junseok brings valuable practical experience from his work with respected organizations such as Statistics Korea, Accenture, and the Boston Consulting Group (BCG). He has contributed to consulting projects for both for-profit and non-profit organizations, including Lutheran Social Service (LSS), the Korea Aerospace Research Institute (KARI), and Hyundai Motor Group (HMG). Additionally, he has participated in executive workshops, such as LG Group’s Spark Lab, further bridging academia and industry as both a scholar and management professional.
