Jess has been working in undergraduate programs at the University of Utah since 2002. She earned M.A. and M.Phil degrees from the Department of Political Science at the U, and a B.A. in History and Environmental Studies from Bowdoin College. She served as an academic adviser in political science and the Eccles School for over ten years, and was Director of Undergraduate Advising Services from 2013-2015. In her current role as Executive Director of Undergraduate Programs, she is involved in all aspects of the undergraduate program. She oversees undergraduate academic advising and student services, and works with the Associate Dean of Programs on curriculum, admissions, and program development. Jess and her husband moved to Utah from the east coast in 2002 and have been in love with the mountains and desert ever since.
