Doug Freeman is an apparel industry veteran with more than three decades of leadership experience across product, supply chain, and responsible business practices. He spent eight years as Chief Operating Officer at Patagonia, where he served on the company’s leadership team and oversaw global product operations. Prior to that role, he held vice president positions leading Patagonia’s supply chain, sourcing, product development, and logistics functions. Earlier in his career, Doug held leadership roles with Polo Ralph Lauren, The North Face, and Sport Obermeyer.

Throughout his tenure at Patagonia, Doug helped guide the company through a period of significant growth while advancing its long-standing commitment to responsible manufacturing. His work supported initiatives in recycled and regenerative materials, fair labor practices, and the expansion of operational systems and distribution infrastructure across multiple regions.

Doug holds a degree in English from the University of California, Berkeley, and lives in Park City, Utah, where he teaches Responsible Operations at the Eccles School of Business.
