Study Abroad Options for U this Summer

Looking to broaden your learning experiences here at the David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah? Well, you’re in luck, because there are numerous ways you can go abroad. Whether you are a freshman or a senior, there are opportunities for you!

1) Eccles Global Learning Abroad

If you are interested in going abroad this summer, first check out the Eccles Global opportunities. Eccles Global Learning Abroad is the international study program at the David Eccles School of Business, with a wide range of opportunities. The program is dedicated to offering safe and affordable global learning experiences that immerse students in business education worldwide. What makes the program unique? All classes are taught by top-ranked Eccles School faculty. Participants, including students, staff, and faculty, can spend anywhere from a week to a semester studying business with an international focus. 2) Hinckley Institute

Another excellent resource to look into if you’re interested in going abroad is the Hinckley Institute. At the University of Utah, the Hinckley Institute links students from all disciplines with transformative internships. Their internships allow you to enhance your résumé, build valuable connections, expand your network, acquire dynamic skills, jumpstart your career, and uncover your true potential! The Hinckley Institute offers local, national, and global internships. They also have scholarship options if your budget is tight. 3) Bennion Center

Another option for an international experience is to go through the Bennion Center, which provides students with opportunities to get hands-on learning, volunteer work, and leadership development. The Bennion Center offers learning abroad programs too! You can join half-semester courses with a seven-day travel experience. This summer, there is an opportunity to go to Havana, Cuba (apply by Feb. 15). They also offer alternative breaks that occur during the academic fall and spring breaks at the University of Utah.
