Students spent several months preparing a detailed written equity analyst’s report and presented their findings to a panel of investment banking professionals.
For the fourth consecutive year, one of the Eccles School’s teams will advance to the Americas competition, which will bring together the top 50 or 60 teams from North, Central and South America. The undergraduate students beat out teams of MBA students from other schools in Utah.
Judges said “it is clear that we have an amazing program.”
Elizabeth Tashjian, the team’s faculty adviser, said much credit needed to go to Jeff Coles for his valuation class, to Bonita Austin for her strategy class, to Robert Dubil and Becky Flynn for Finance Club and Emerging Finance Professionals (EFP), and to Michael Thornton, an alumnus of our programs and our industry mentor.
