Rising Business Leaders students learn about purpose and adaptability from Dean Dirks
The Rising Business Leaders program is an opportunity for first-year students to live and learn together, participating in leadership-focused academics as part of a vibrant cohorted community. Over the past year — the first of RBL’s existence — students have lived at the Ivory University House, learned business fundamentals in the MGT 1000 and 1005 courses, and participated in programming from the Goff Strategic Leadership Institute. Crafted With Love with BSG
Business Student Government is committed to creating community at the David Eccles School of Business through impactful events and initiatives. Crafted with Love was planned with this goal in mind, offering Eccles students the chance to connect over crafts! At Crafted With Love, students designed shrinky-dink keychains as gifts for friends, family, partners, or themselves. They also enjoyed sweet and savory treats from Waffle Love while they crafted their creations. Erik Snowberg honored as Eccles School’s ‘Researcher of the Month’ for February
Erik Snowberg, the Marriner S. Eccles Presidential Professor for the Division of Quantitative Analysis of Markets and Organizations, has been selected as the David Eccles School of Business’s “Researcher of the Month” for February 2026. After earning S.B.s in Mathematics, Physics, and Geology with a minor in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, his Ph.D. was granted by Stanford in 2008. He started his career at the California Institute of Technology, where he was promoted to Professor of Economics and Political Science in 2012.
