Are you ready for school? Five tips to be prepared for the start of the semester.

School starts in a few weeks. As you prep for Fall, check out these five tips to set yourself up for success.

1) Check Canvas.

In one place, you can make sure that all your classes are in your schedule, read over your syllabi, and check whether you have prep work to do before classes start.

2) Plan how best to get to the U.

Are you driving and parking? Make sure that your parking pass is up to date. Also, take a look at what lot is best for you to get to class on time. Or are you taking a UTA bus or TRAX to campus? Just a reminder — your UCard doubles as a free transit pass.

3) Solve your morning coffee situation.

Did you leave home without your caffeine fix? You’ve got several on-campus options to solve your depleted-energy dilemma on way to class. There’s the Starbucks located in the Campus Store, next to the Marriott Library. Or, if you’re already by the business buildings, there’s the Madsen Cafe on the fifth floor of SFEBB, and the Food Hall in Lund Commons in CRCC.

4) Not all who wander are lost, but if you ARE lost …

Do those buildings sound familiar, but you can’t quite remember where they are? If you could use a little help locating your business classes, check out the “Navigate Eccles” highlight on the @ubusiness Instagram page.

5) Stop by and say hi.

Come on over to the “Eccles Welcome” event! Join us in the SFEBB lobby on the first day of school for food, swag, and friends. Business student government representatives will be on hand to connect.
