Few things can have as powerful of an impact on your career as a mentor. But how do you find a mentor? And even more importantly, how do you ensure your mentor is the right one for you?
The David Eccles School of Business has paired with a company called CampusTap to solve that problem and help students connect to alumni mentors who can give them guidance and help them get a head start on their career path.
Both students and alumni can create a profile using the CampusTap software, and even connect their LinkedIn profile. The software then helps Eccles School staff pair students with the perfect alumni mentor to help guide them throughout their career.
CampusTap will be the primary method of communication for connecting mentors and mentees this year, so keep an eye on your email inbox for an invitation. Both students and alumni are welcome to sign up!

What is CampusTap?
CampusTap is an online mentoring system that allows alumni, students and staff to create virtual mentoring partnerships with each other.
Why use CampusTap?
CampusTap helps facilitate the mentoring process by granting mentors and mentees greater flexibility and control in managing and creating a professional relationship. Alumni from across the world can connect with Eccles School students and other alumni to provide a career partnership.
How do I sign up?
If you are an Eccles School student, CampusTap should have sent you an email on Wednesday, Aug. 23. Use the link provided in that email to create your profile. You can start from scratch or load in your LinkedIn profile and be connected instantly!
Be sure to check your spam, promotions and social folders for the CampusTap email as it can sometimes be rerouted. The email will be from noreply@thecampustap.com. CampusTap runs best on Firefox and Chrome.
