The annual Eccles Gala has become a cherished tradition and a highlight of the academic year for students at the David Eccles School of Business. The Gala stands out as a way to connect to fellow students, faculty, and alumni in an evening of celebration, networking, and community. At the 11th annual Eccles Gala, Business Student Government (BSG) continued this tradition and welcomed the Eccles community for an unforgettable night. Research by Elena Patel featured in CATO Research Briefs
Elena Patel is the Sorenson Assistant Professor in the Division of Quantitative Analysis of Markets and Organizations at the David Eccles School of Business. Her research on paid family leave was featured on August 21, 2024 in the CATO Institute's Research Briefs section under Economic Policy. Research Grant Awarded to Assistant Professor Jason Cook
The National Science Foundation awarded a $700,000 research grant to Assistant Professor Jason Cook. Professor Cook teaches in the Division of Quantitative Analysis of Markets and Organizations at the David Eccles School of Business. The grant was awarded for a project studying the barriers to accessing the U.S. safety as well as their long-run implications across a variety of outcomes. Collaborators on the project are Marianne Bitler and Chloe East.
