About H2Go

The traditional model of healthcare requires people to go to facilities to access basic services, while H2Go employs the approach of bringing the health system to the doorsteps of families.

Creating capacity for communities to be healthy, well, and self-reliant.

Our Vision

Making quality essential healthcare resources available to underserved communities around the world. The greatest impact of H2Go is in the home. Community Health Workers (CHW) trained by H2Go provide routine home visits in which they educate pregnant women, mothers, and families on topics such as:

  • Prevention of illness
  • Nutrition
  • Household health promoting behaviors
  • Early care-seeking

In addition to preventative care, CHW’s provide other important services in communities such as treating common illnesses, linking families to health facilities for serious illnesses, and providing follow-up visits.

Our Mission

H2Go’s mission is to change the face of global health by bridging the gap between health systems and communities through the use of mobilized CHWs.

H2Go aims to:

  • Prioritize maternal and child health while improving conditions for the entire community
  • Detect disease early and treat in the community when appropriate
  • Support ongoing disease prevention and health promotion
  • Maintain links with the broader clinical system, especially for rural and otherwise underserved communities
