Ruchi Watson graduated with her MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in 2008 in the midst of the economic crisis. She completed her Ed.D. in Higher Education Management from the University of Pennsylvania in 2019. In a conversation with fellow Kellogg classmate, Tara Ghei, on Ghei’s blog, Gilded Chaos, the two speak on embracing change, what it means to be a lifelong learner, the death of George Floyd, and much more.

On July 1, she will take on a new role, Managing Director of the Goff Strategic Leadership Center at the Eccles School.
When asked how she knew she could teach MBA students, she replied, “because other people believed I could,” reminding us of the importance of surrounding ourselves with a network of people who can lift and champion us.
