So you have heard about Prosperity U, but you are not sure what it is or how to get involved. First off, we are so excited you are interested and checking it out. Second, we may have some answers to your questions.
Purpose: Prosperity U is a multidisciplinary student experience open to all majors focused on improving local and global prosperity. Our programming is centered around learning and applying prosperity principles to provide students with the knowledge and resources to enact sustainable change and create valuable impact in their communities.
Programming: Prosperity U events and workshops aim to provide academic, professional, and social opportunities for all students:
- Learn prosperity science and practice principles, including sustainable development and community engagement
- Engage in hands-on projects and systems analysis applications related to local issues and case studies
- Cultivate practical problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Promote leadership, networking, and mentorship to support academic and professional goals
Involvement: Students are encouraged to get involved with Prosperity U by attending any Prosperity U event and engaging in our projects throughout the semester.
