Last week the Master of Healthcare Administration program at the David Eccles School of Business hosted a special dinner event in honor of Debra L. Scammon and her incredible contributions to the MHA program and the Eccles School over her career. During the event, MHA program leadership announced a new endowed scholarship that has been created in Debra’s name.
This endowment will provide scholarship money to support students of the MHA program for years to come.
This week, the Eccles School is hosting the 1917-Minute Challenge, an initiative to get 750 donors in 1,917 minutes. The goal of the MHA team is to raise a minimum of $25,000. To date, we are at $14,500 pledged! As we participate in the 1917-Minute Challenge, we encourage all MHA alumni to consider making a gift in any amount during the challenge, which kicked off today at noon.
We have built a mini-campaign for Debbie’s endowment as part of our 1917 Challenge. You can contribute directly to Debbie’s scholarship by following the link here.
Feel free to spread the word and share the campaign on your social media, and thank you in advance for your contribution!
