Event Overview:

Join Prosperity U and the Graduate and Professional Student Council for Boo Bash as we light up the Epicenter Forum with your pumpkin creations. The contest will be judged on Thursday, Oct. 30, 2024, at 6:00 p.m.

Not feeling the carving spirit? No problem! Come by with your friends to cast your votes for the People’s Choice Award in the pumpkin decorating contest. Enjoy soft pretzels and a soda bar catered by Thirst. Let’s celebrate the spooky season in style! Costumes welcome.

Need a pumpkin?

Stop by Monday, Oct. 27, at the Epicenter, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., or the Graduate School Office, located at Gardner Commons 3105, 12 – 4 p.m. to pick up a free pumpkin. Limited supply.

Pumpkin Carving Contest Rules:

  • Pick up a pumpkin at the Epicenter on Monday, Oct. 27, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. or provide your own.

  • Prosperity U will provide a limited number of pumpkins, first-come, first-served. You’ll need your own carving tools, decorations, and the creativity to make your pumpkin shine.

  • Let your imagination run wild this year, both carved and decorated pumpkins are welcome! All pumpkin entries need to be checked in at the Impact & Prosperity Epicenter between 3 p.m. – 4 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 30.

  • Each entry will receive a number and go on display in the Forum for judging later that evening during the Boo Bash.

  • Must be present at the Boo Bash to win.
