The Engagement Working Group group facilitates and manages belonging-related engagement opportunities and events. The goal is to provide resources and support to groups and individuals within the Eccles community looking to support a culture of belonging within our school, university, and the greater community.

• Lunch & Learn Series
  This engagement initiative facilitates connections within the Eccles community surrounding various inclusive topics. Staff and faculty members are invited to present their research, educating members on the vital work conducted at the Eccles School.
• Eccles Week of Belonging
  This annual event aims to enhance a widespread culture of belonging at the David Eccles School of Business through educational, celebratory, and community-building events. It features a week of activities, learning opportunities, and great food from locally-owned restaurants.
• First-Generation Success and Support
  This support initiative provides first-generation students across the Eccles School with the support and resources needed to account for the additional hurdles of being the first to navigate college.
• International Student Success and Support
  This initiative is dedicated to fostering the success of international students through facilitating access to resources, providing community-building opportunities, and training faculty and staff on supporting international students.
• In A Pinch Basic Needs Initiative
  This initiative addresses basic needs within the Eccles community. The goal is to centralize information and resources, as well as to provide education on supporting access to basic needs.
