In Ghana you will spend 3 weeks learning the latest in health and development and work hands-on with communities and local industries. Then jump over to the University Oxford to absorb its history and current aims to amplify the growth of global markets.

Students are responsible for a current passport and necessary immunizations.*

Learn, get hands-on experience, and explore!
Explore Ghana and Oxford, England, through ENTP 5850/6850, Business Development in Emerging Markets. In Ghana, students will spend three weeks learning the latest in business, health, and community development, while experiencing daily life in a developing country and working hands-on with local industries and communities. Prior to returning to the U.S., students then have the option to visit the University of Oxford, absorbing its rich history and studying current efforts to enhance the growth of global markets, including those of West Africa.
Students fulfill an International Requirement (IR) by completing this course and earn three (3) credit hours for their project-based learning in Ghana, or four (4) credit hours should they join the additional week of historical and cultural study in England.

Scholarships are available through the Prosperity U Student Experience. Email bhp@utah.edu to learn more and get involved with Prosperity Scholars. The program has limited enrollment. Fee includes tuition for three credit hours, housing, in-country transportation, most meals, excursions and travel insurance.

Projects
Group projects will provide an ecological analysis and strategic recommendation for Ensign Global Campus. Some past projects have included Health 2 Go franchising, developing core values and a mission statement for the Institute, and providing recommendations to improve the Kpong Health Center.
Students take on leadership roles as they complete their projects and practice presenting in front of their classmates and experts in the fields of health and development.
