We recently heard from alumni Taylor Rose and were able to learn about his latest career endeavor and how he’s found a new place to call home. See what he’s been up to:
Taylor Rose, MHA/MBA, 2016, has worked in various roles in healthcare for more than a decade. Throughout his time at the Eccles School, he worked leading and managing both quality- and value-based programs at the University of Utah Hospital & Clinics. With the support and guidance of the MHA program staff, he decided to pursue an administrative fellowship after completing his graduate programs. In 2017, Taylor accepted a fellowship with MultiCare Health System, based in Tacoma, Washington. He left Utah to pursue the next level of learning from some of the top executives in the competitive Pacific Northwest healthcare market.
Post-fellowship, Taylor has accepted the role of assistant administrator for South King County Hospital, MultiCare’s newest community hospital in Covington, Washington. He is excited to help open a new hospital – a once-in-a-career opportunity – and is looking forward to learning from top executives and guiding the strategic direction of the hospital. Taylor is hopeful for career growth in the multi-hospital system that continues to serve its community. Though he misses Utah, he has found a new home in the Pacific Northwest.
Thanks for staying in touch with the program, Taylor!
