Degree Requirements

The MAcc program provides students with the opportunity to specialize in one of three emphasis areas: Audit, Industry, and Tax. These emphasis areas allow students to focus their program of study according to their specific interests and career goals. The MAcc program is composed of 12 core credits, which form the foundational knowledge necessary for all students. The remaining requirements will differ depending on the emphasis area chosen by the student.

MAcc Core Course Requirements

  • ACCTG 6155: MAcc Analytics
  • ACCTG 6200: Value & Management Accounting
  • ACCTG 6610: Reading and Interpret Financial Statements
  • ACCTG 6620: Business Valuation

Minimum GPA

Candidates for graduate degrees are required to maintain a 3.0 or higher GPA in course work counted toward the degree. A grade below C- is not accepted by the University toward a graduate degree.
